Had a call from my friend Wendy and could not hear a thing she was saying cos she was crying at the same time. She slow down and told me that Freddy is gone...................................... I was not sure cos there was no sign of any sickness. So I called his office but the office dare not confirm it, so I asked for the eldest son's handset number. I called and he confirmed it.
Freddy and wife Stephanie has been our close friends for the past 35 years ........... way before we (both couples) got married. Each time we have dinner together, he would hold my hands and tell me how much he appreciated our friendship. Each time I think of his words, tears would just flow down my cheeks whether I am in the office or in the car or even when I am on the phone with my daughter. Shireen was very concern and ask me not to go to the funeral parlour because my health this year is real horrid BUT I just have to go and see him for a last time.
It is so sad the way he died. He collapsed at the bank and NONE came to his aid. The post mortem shows that if someone would have just gave him a hard push at the chest area, he would have been saved. Worst was, there was a doctor at the bank at that time. He was only 59. It is so hard to accept his death. And I know it is worst for Stephanie who share most if not all her time with him.
But I pray Stephanie will be strong to go through all these as she still has four sons who need her most at this time.
Meanwhile, Freddy, we will all miss you very much and may you go in peace. Bless all your love ones who you left behind.

stay home is not nice for him to go this way but he had gone nothing anyone can help now. you just got to pray for him to go to the happy place we all pray for him .

My apologies.... when I went to the parlour the second night, i heard another side of the story. Then bank officers did send a doc and manage to revived him for a couple of mins and he collapsed again without regaining consciousness.
I still miss him alot.
